In August of 1911 the carousel made by the great
Danish woodcarver Charles I.D. Looff was installed.
German-made 342-pipe Ruth und Sohn band organ built in 1894
provided music. In 2007, a rare Wurlitzer 165 Band Organ previously
at San Francisco’s Playland-at-the-Beach was added.
Both the Looff Carousel & the Giant Dipper wooden
roller coaster are National Historic registers.
