Fun food salsa, great for party’s! Nice kick from the jalapeno pepper. You can make it sweeter with more orange, or hotter with more hot pepper. Great with; see recipe Sprouted Seed Crackers; Paleo, Gluten Free, Low carb
Orange Salsa
- 1 orange
- 1/2 sweet white onion
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 1 Anaheim pepper
- 1 pablano pepper
- 2 tomatillo
- 7-9 fresh cilantro leaves
Clean orange, peppers and onion. Remove papery leaves from tomatillo and wash. Place all on preheated grill. Char on all sides. Let cool. Remove charred skin from peppers and onions. Remove steams and seeds from inside peppers. Dice all. Save juices and add to mixture. Zest orange into mixture. Remove all peel and white pith from orange and discard. Dice orange discarding seeds and membrane. Add to mixture. Clean and chop cilantro leaves, add. Mix well. Enjoy!
