Right now it’s deep August summertime in our home town Modesto Ca, and we’re talking 104°-106° that’s hot.  Looking at these pictures I want to go back to this time to early March and fall into the snow!   We love going up to Reno/ Tahoe and both these routs are good, but the back way is the most fun.  Up I-80 late Sunday afternoons is usually fast, easy.  More picturesque is this route: Oakdale rd. to Riverbank, Santa fe to Escalon to Escalon Belgota rd. East on 26 to Jackson, and 88 to Tahoe. Beer is exploding in Reno!
