Simple one pan Fun Fall Harvest Meal
- 1 package Diestel Linguica
- 2 organic Granny Smith apples
- 1 medium organic cabbage
- Sweet Butter best from cows fed organic non-GMO grass
- unrefined sea salt
- 1/4 cup Indigeny hard cider
Slice apples. On medium heat caramelize apples in 2-3 pats of butter. Remove apples and brown the sausages, adding a bit more butter as needed. Remove sausages. Chop cabbage in wedges. Add 2-3 pats butter the 1/4 cup iIdigeny hard cider then place cabbage on top. Sprinkle with unrefined sea salt. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer with lid on. If lid starts to drip, set it ajar. When cabbage has cooked down enough add apples and Linguica. Continue on low 40 or more minutes. Its ready when the cabbage is soft as you like. Pairs extremely well with Indigeny hard cider. The Diestel Linguica spices, and the sweet apple flavors steep down. The cider butter steam rises up and enriches the cabbage. Plate with pat of butter on top. Enjoy I sure did!
